The 2010 Mighty Mites Youth Football season will start on Tuesday, September 7. 
 If we should have inclement weather, Field Supervisors will determine if practice can be held at their parks by 4:30 PM each practice day, and if games can be held at their parks by 3:30 PM on game days.  Game and practice cancellations will be posted here as soon as any decision is made to cancel games or practices at individual parks.  Please check back here each afternoon if you are concerned that games or practices may need to be cancelled due to rain or wet grounds.   Cancellations will not be posted on the Mighty Mites telephone number or 331-MITE cell phone number.


  


Welcome to the Mighty Mites Youth Football web site for Springfield, Missouri, and also including Ava, Buffalo, Fair Grove, Fordland, Nixa, Rogersville, Sparta, Spokane, Strafford and Willard. The Mighty Mites Inc. program is for children in grade school from the first grade through the sixth grade.  Boys and girls who are younger than the first grade or who will reach age 13 in 2010 are not allowed to participate in the 2010 MIghty Mites Youth Football Program.

The 2010 Mighty Mites Youth Football season will start on Tuesday, September 7, and conclude on Thursday, October 21, 2010.    If you have any immediate questions, please direct them to mail@mightymitesfootball.org.  Thank you for your support of youth activities.


 

OTHER IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

Note:  If you have missed your park's registration times listed below, you may go to the Parks and Supervisors Tab and send an email to the park supervisor where you would like to play with the age, weight, and grade of your child.   The park supervisor will advise you if there is room at that park for you to play and, if there is an opening,  when you should come to the park to register.  The season starts on Tuesday, September 7.

MEADOR PARK: Tuesday, September 7th is the first night of practice. Please have your player to the park by 5:15pm on this evening. Please do not expect to hear from your coach prior to this practice. September 7th practice will end at 7:15pm. All subsequent practices at this park will be from 5:45pm-7:00pm.

The 2010 Mighty Mites Youth Football season will hold open registration at:

1)  MEADOR will hold a LATE and FINAL REGISTRATION on Saturday, August 28th from 6:00 to 7:00pm at the park.  Ewiing Park will hold a LATE and FINAL REGISTRATION on Wednesday, September 1 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the park.

2) Nixa Registration will be held at the Community Center on Wednesday, August 25 and Thursday, August 26 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm each night.

3)  Rogersville at the Upper Elementary School Cafeteria on Monday, August 23, and Tuesday, August 24, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM each evening.  Call Nino or Karin at 889-2410 for more information.

4) Willard at the Willard Rec Center on Tuesday, August 24, Wednesday, August 25, and Thursday, August 26 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM each evening.  Willard will hold a LATE and FINAL REGISTRATION on Thursday, September 2 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Willard Rec Center.

5) Buffalo at the D.A. Mallory Elementary School on Wednesday, August 25, and Thursday, August 26, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM each evening.

6) Strafford at Max Evans Gym on Saturday, August 28, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

7) Fair Grove at front entrance to High School, on Wednesday, August 25, and Thursday, August 26, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM each evening, and on Friday,  August 27, from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

8) Fordland at the Fordland City Park on Tuesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 2, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM each evening.

9) Sparta will hold registration on Friday, August 27th from 3pm-7pm and Saturday, August 28th from 10am-2pm.

The 2010 season will start on Tuesday, September 7 and conclude on Thursday, October 21, 2010.
